1621 is a five-member Filipino P-pop boy group composed of JM, JC, WIN, MIGZ, and DJ. The group was first introduced as 1621BC under PPL Entertainment and Star Pop, officially entering the P-pop scene with their debut single “Laruan” in November 2023.
The group’s name is connected to the idea of manifestation, with 1621 symbolizing dreams, goals, and desires beginning to come true. Their former name, 1621BC, also carried the meaning “Beyond Complete,” reflecting the group’s aim to keep growing, improving, and reaching for excellence as performers.
