DAELUX is a Filipino girl group from Davao composed of CK, Alice, Ara, Rhya, Slane, Zyra, and Riri. Sony Music Philippines first announced the act in December 2025 as one of three Davao-based P-Pop groups preparing to release music. The lineup reported at that announcement was different; the seven names listed here are the lineup reported for DAELUX’s September 2026 release.
The group’s first song, “Like That,” arrived on September 25, 2026. It captures the excitement of liking someone while trying to work out whether the feeling is mutual. Produced by Pao Lofranco and co-written by AndreaH, the playful pop track also drew creative ideas from DAELUX’s members during its development.
DAELUX and its early creative team have roots in Davao. “Like That” offers a first listen to the group’s sound, but it is described as a pre-debut single. An official debut date has yet to be confirmed.
DAELUX began its recorded music catalog with “Like That” in September 2026.
A name with Bisaya roots
DAELUX’s name combines “dae,” a Bisaya term of endearment for girls, and “lux,” the Latin word for light. It gives the group a name tied to its regional background while leaving room for its identity to develop through future music and performances.
