On this day one year ago, FELIP — known as the fearless soloist from SB19 — unleashed his boldest and most personal work yet: 7sins, his first full-length album. More than just a release, 7sins cracked open FELIP’s psyche, inviting listeners into a dark, honest exploration of human flaws, inner conflict, and unapologetic self-expression.
A Fearless First Full Album
When 7sins dropped, it wasn’t just another project — it was a statement. Across nine gritty, genre-defying tracks, FELIP delivered a daring fusion of trap, rock, hip-hop, and experimental sounds, all anchored by his haunting vocals and hard-hitting lyricism. The album’s tracklist — Foes, Envy, Wrath, Greed, Pride, Gluttony (feat. PLAYERTWO), Lust (feat. Cyra Gwynth), Sloth, and Ache — dives deep into the metaphorical sins and struggles we all carry.
Don’t miss the album that redefined P-pop solo artistry. Stream 7sins by FELIP on Spotify and Apple Music.

From Studio to Stage
The 7sins era was more than a studio triumph. FELIP brought his raw storytelling to life through dynamic promotions, from radio guestings that let fans peek into his creative process to exclusive live performances that left audiences breathless.
His first-ever solo concert in Manila was a landmark moment — selling out quickly and proving that FELIP could command a stage entirely on his own. He didn’t stop there: 7sins opened doors for him in Japan, where he delivered an electrifying show for international fans, building new bridges for Filipino artists abroad.
Charting New Heights
7sins didn’t just resonate with fans — it charted. Tracks gained traction on local streaming platforms and broke into various international indie and Asian charts, solidifying FELIP’s reputation as a solo powerhouse with cross-border appeal. Each milestone proved that 7sins was not just a personal record, but one with universal impact.
How 7sins made waves — See achievements
Japan Promotions & New Audiences
Japan became a second home for 7sins promotions. FELIP took to Japanese radio and local press, where his authenticity and genre-bending sound earned him new listeners. His Tokyo show was a highlight — intimate, raw, and a testament to his rising influence as a soloist beyond the Philippines.
But 2025 proved that FELIP’s connection with Japan is deeper than ever. This year, he’s made waves with new collaborations alongside respected Japanese artists, including ID (ID by SKY-HI feat. RYOKI, RYUKI, JIMMY, FELIP) and Kawasaki (ONE OR EIGHT, FELIP, and thuy) — tracks that further showcase his versatility and global appeal. In January 2025, FELIP also graced the D.U.N.K. concert stage in Japan for a special collaboration performance, a milestone that symbolized his growing presence in the Japanese music scene.
For someone who has always openly shared his love for Japanese culture — from anime and manga to fashion and music — having his own solo concert there was truly a dream come true. With each visit, each stage, and each new partnership, FELIP’s heart is probably more content than ever, bringing his passions and artistry to a place he calls his “second home.”
Behind the Scenes: Creative Control
What makes 7sins stand out is FELIP’s unwavering creative control. From composing the beats to writing the lyrics, FELIP poured himself into every layer of this album. His behind-the-scenes clips — editing visuals, refining vocal takes, and working out choreography — showed a tireless artist committed to his craft.
The 7sins album concert wasn’t just a live show — it was a visual and sensory experience that brought his themes to life onstage. FELIP worked closely with creative and artistic individuals who helped transform his vision into a powerful performance. From talented musicians and technical crew to visual artists and stage designers, every detail was a testament to collaboration and passion. It became a platform not just for FELIP’s music, but for showcasing the artistry of the entire team behind him — a true celebration of raw talent, bold visuals, and shared creative spirit.
Collaborators & Newfound Friendships
The 7sins era introduced fans to powerful collaborations. Gluttony, featuring PLAYERTWO, was a standout that brought a fresh dynamic to FELIP’s raw verses, while Lust, featuring Cyra Gwynth, highlighted his talent for blending contrasting energies. These collaborations weren’t just work — they sparked genuine friendships and a deeper sense of community among rising Filipino artists.
Behind the scenes, FELIP’s creative journey has been strengthened by his close bond with his co-producer Luke April, who is also a member of PLAYERTWO. From Gluttony to his other solo tracks, Luke’s production expertise and FELIP’s raw vision have formed a synergy that continues to evolve in the studio. Their friendship and teamwork are proof that the best music often comes from real connections built on respect, trust, and a shared passion for pushing sonic boundaries.
The Story Behind the Album
At its core, 7sins is a confession and confrontation. FELIP doesn’t preach about sins — he embraces them, flips them, and lays them bare for everyone to see. The album is both a mirror and a magnifying glass, asking listeners to examine their own darkness while finding beauty in imperfection. It’s an invitation to be unapologetically real.
Key Tracks: Stories, Stages & Milestones
Every track adds a layer to FELIP’s story, but Foes sets the tone with its defiant energy and quickly became a fan favorite — especially after FELIP gave fans an early taste by performing it live during SB19’s Pagtatag concert tour, months before the 7sins album was officially released (watch here). Envy, Wrath, and Pride showcase his lyrical bite, with the Envy music video — watch here — adding a dark, haunting visual layer to the track’s raw message.
Greed stands out as a soft, sorrowful ballad — a moment of quiet introspection that cuts through the album’s heavier moments. Gluttony and Lust are his collaborative tracks, bringing a fresh dynamic to 7sins with PLAYERTWO and Cyra Gwynth, respectively, and proving how FELIP’s vision shines when shared with trusted artists.
FELIP also brought his 7sins energy to the big stage, performing Foes, Envy, and Sloth at the NBA Rising Stars Invitational PH, showing how his tracks hit just as hard live. Ache, the closing track, remains another fan favorite — it lingers like a bruise, a haunting reminder that pain, vulnerability, and growth often walk hand in hand.
A Legacy in the Making
One year later, 7sins remains one of the boldest full-length albums in P-pop, pushing the genre’s limits while staying rooted in FELIP’s raw authenticity. His rise as a soloist continues to inspire — reminding us that sometimes, the most beautiful art comes from the shadows we dare to face.
